A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Read is a Terrible Thing to Sign…

…but I’m going to be doing it anyway at this year’s Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. I’ll be at the Mystery Bookstore’s booth on Sunday, April 26 at 2 pm. And for your extra added entertainment, I’ll be joined by the two kings of USA Network tie-in novels — Lee and Tod Goldberg, authors, respectively, of the Monk and Burn Notice books. Stop on by for the trifecta — or walk right past them and come see me!

The LA Times Festival of Books is held every year on the UCLA campus, and it’s astonishing. I could go on forever about the great speakers and ridiculous number of booksellers, but it’s probably more efficient just to send you to: http://www.latimes.com/extras/festivalofbooks/

Mr. Rabkin, I can sign up as a volunteer, would you do me the oh so great honor of being your author escort on the campus? I don’t know if I can request to be your escort but I’m pretty sure authors can request who they want.
Please let me know.

It would be a great honor — too great for my position in the festival, actually. I’m not speaking, just signing at the Mystery Bookstore booth, so I don’t get an escort. But please come by and say hello!

I, of course, am pretty much guaranteed to be there, barring national emergency or acts of God.

Nooo, why can’t you three come over to the East coast?! I’d love to get my books signed but don’t have the time (or money) to go to L.A.
